COOLRUNNINGS play a mixture of surf, psychedelic, Afrobeat, synth-pop with a certain emphasis on percussion. The group started as a recording project in early December 2009 by songwriters Brandon Biondo (ex Royal Bangs) and Forrest Ferguson. The project swelled into a full band with the addition of members Elliott White (of Yung Life), Thomas Finn, David Thomasson, Will Farner (also of Yung Life) and Dan Quirand. The band then began writing together as a unit and are working on their first full length titled "Teenage Tennessee."

COOLRUNNINGS released their debut EP 'Buffalo' in April 2010 on Arcade Sound Ltd. In May of 2010 they self-released a follow up EP titled 'Babes Forever.'
