Amandine
Formed back in 2001 with roots in the sleepy Swedish town of Sandviken, Amandine played under the name 'Wichita Linemen' for 3 years. After line-up changes and relocation to the vibrant musical city UmeÂ, Singer/Guitarrist Olof Gidlˆf and John Andersson (piano/accordian) was joined by a drummer and a bass player, both named Andreas. With more time to write and rehearse, they recorded a demo with producer Ove Andersson in G‰vle.

In autumn of 2004 the band moved south to Malmo, changed it's name to Amandine, and in Spring 2005 signed to FatCat records (Sigor Ros, Mum, Animal Collective).

During April and May, the debut album "This Is Where Our Hearts Collide" was recorded in Maraccas studio, G‰vle by Ove Andersson. A single from the album, "Halo", will be released as a 7" September 3rd. The album is set to be released in Europe October 3rd, and two weeks later in the U.S. Amandine will be touring in support of the release throughout the fall and winter.
